Punjab Police on Thursday arrested 10 operatives of a grenade-attack module allegedly supported by Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). They were in touch with Pakistan-based handlers and were working through three Malaysian operatives.
New Delhi/Chandigarh. Punjab Police on Thursday arrested 10 operatives of a grenade-attack module allegedly supported by Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). According to a post on Twitter by DGP Punjab Police, the module was tasked to carry out a grenade attack in a densely populated area of Punjab. The tweet said that preliminary investigation by the police indicates that the 10 arrested people were in touch with Pakistan-based handlers and were forwarding the communication through three operatives based in Malaysia. He was the one who coordinated the pickup and delivery of the grenade.
