The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh is called Raja here. There is a story behind it, let’s know.
Why don’t CM stop at night in Jajain?
According to religious beliefs, Mahakal is considered the king in Ujjain and he is the protector of the people here, so no king can stop here. The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh is considered a ‘king’, due to which no CM stops here at night. It is believed that if a CM stops at night in Ujjain, then all his Rajpat is destroyed.
However, no evidence of this is found, but still due to this myth, CM or PM do not stop at night. They take away from Ujjain after visiting. It is believed that after the rule of Vikramaditya, no king stayed in Ujjain overnight.
