China gave a 440 volt shock to America!
The tension between the two superpowers of the world has once again reached its peak. The matter is about Taiwan, but its heat is being felt from Washington to Beijing. As soon as America decided to give a huge stockpile of weapons to Taiwan, China’s anger reached its peak. China retaliated by issuing an order to close the doors of big American defense companies forever.
Everyone measured from Boeing to defense giants
The steps taken by China are very strict and comprehensive. 20 American defense companies and 10 senior officials have now been put in China’s ‘blacklist’. In the list of these banned companies, the name of St. Louis branch of the famous aircraft manufacturing company Boeing is at the top. Apart from this, big companies like Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation and L3 Harris Maritime Services have also been hit.
According to the report of Economic Times, the Chinese Foreign Ministry has made it clear that this is not just paperwork. All types of assets of these companies and individuals in China will be frozen (confiscated). This simply means that their money and property will all be blocked. Also, no domestic organization or individual of China will be able to do any kind of business with them. The strictness is so much that the founder of defense firm Anduril Industries and nine senior executives of banned firms will not even be allowed to enter China.
If ‘red line’ is crossed… China’s direct warning
Beijing’s logic behind this entire action is absolutely clear. China considers Taiwan as its integral part and this issue is the soul of its sovereignty. The spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry bluntly said that the Taiwan issue is a ‘red line’ between China-US relations, which should not be crossed under any circumstances. China has warned America that it should stop giving wrong signals to the ‘separatist forces’ demanding Taiwan’s independence.
Beijing has made it clear that it is ready to go to any extent to protect its national security and territorial integrity. He says that if the provocation from America continues in the case of Taiwan, then China will give an even stronger and concrete response to it.
After all, what did America sell that stunned China?
Now the question arises that what did America do that enraged the dragon so much? In fact, America’s Donald Trump administration has approved one of the largest arms packages ever to Taiwan. This deal is worth about $11.1 billion, which is a record amount.
This package does not include any small guns, but weapons that can change the course of the war. This includes state-of-the-art missiles, heavy artillery, HIMARS rocket launchers and dangerous drones. China fears that these weapons will increase Taiwan’s military strength, which is a direct challenge to China’s security. Although, this proposed sale of arms to Taiwan is still subject to the approval of the US Congress, but this proposal itself has soured the relations between the two countries.
