Ever since the government has come into action mode regarding fake IDs. Since then, there has been a huge decline in the number of new users being added daily on IRCTC. According to the information, the number of new users on IRCTC was increasing by 1 lakh every day, but it has come down to 5000. Which can be called a big decline. This means how many users were coming to IRCTC through fake IDs before the action. From whom tickets were being booked and the needy people were not able to get tickets. Positive result after action
According to the information given by the officials, after the implementation of the new, strict system of establishing user identity, the number of new user IDs added daily on the IRCTC website has come down from about one lakh to about 5,000. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said in a press release that Indian Railways’ crackdown on train ticket booking through fake identities is yielding positive results. The press release said that before the latest improvements, this number had reached approximately one lakh new user IDs per day.
3 crore fake accounts
According to the information given by the government, after the implementation of a strict system to establish the identity of users and detect fake IDs, about 5,000 new user IDs are now being added to the IRCTC website every day. Officials said that these steps have helped Indian Railways to deactivate 3.03 crore fake accounts. The minister said that 27 lakh other user IDs have either been temporarily suspended or marked for suspension after being found involved in suspicious activities.
Instructions to provide local food
The press note further said that the Union Minister has directed the officials to ensure that the ticketing system is improved to such a level that all passengers can easily book tickets through genuine and valid user IDs. Apart from this, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has directed the officials to provide local cuisine of the concerned region in Vande Bharat trains. Officials said the inclusion of local cuisine from the regions whose culture and flavor is depicted during the journey will greatly enhance the experience of the passengers. He further said that this facility will be gradually extended to all trains in future.
