CM Yogi Adityanath reviewed the preparations for the 19th National Jamboree. UP got hosting after 61 years. 29 thousand participants will join. The event will focus on safety, cleanliness, digital and green initiatives.
Lucknow. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday held a high-level review meeting of the preparations for the upcoming 19th National Jamboree of Bharat Scouts and Guides. This grand event will be organized from 23 to 29 November 2025 at the Defense Expo Ground (Sector-15, Vrindavan Yojana), Lucknow. The Chief Minister said that it is a matter of pride for the state that Uttar Pradesh is getting the opportunity to organize this event after 61 years. This program will strongly showcase youth power, discipline, national service and determination for self-reliant India.
Chief Minister Yogi gave strict instructions: Special attention to safety, cleanliness and management
The Chief Minister directed the officials that the Jamboree should become such an event which showcases the efficiency, system, security and hospitality capacity of the state. He said that on the lines of Mahakumbh, arrangements for security, traffic, cleanliness, health, accommodation, food and cultural programs should be ensured. The Chief Minister also said that the theme of the Jamboree – ‘Self-reliant-Indigenous India, Clean and Developed India, Green and Sustainable India’ – should be clearly visible at every level.
There will be thousands of participants from India and abroad in this huge event.
Officials said that this event will be the grand finale of the Diamond Jubilee of Bharat Scouts and Guides. It will include 28,000 to 29,000 Scouts and Guides from different states of the country, 1,000 to 2,000 international participants from abroad, and about 5,000 volunteers and staff members. Spread over an area of approximately 300 acres, the circumference of the venue will be more than 7 kilometers. 3,500 tents, 2,200 toilets, 1,700 bathrooms, 100 kitchens and 4 central kitchens will be built here. The size of the main arena stadium will be 1 million square feet, with seating for 30,000 spectators, 12 entry gates, 11 LED screens and 5 VVIP German hangar galleries.
Uttar Pradesh’s culture and innovation will get a platform
The Chief Minister said that on this occasion, Uttar Pradesh will get a golden opportunity to showcase its culture, traditions and innovations. He directed that state-wise exhibition stalls, Global Village, 75 Years of Scouting Exhibition, Air Agniveer, One District-One Product, Solar, Robotics, Electronics and Army exhibitions should be organized in the Expo Ground.
IT and AI hub will be built for skill development of youth
The Chief Minister said that this event will become a medium to enhance technical, social and leadership skills among the youth. For this, an IT and Artificial Intelligence Hub is being established, where sessions related to digital learning, leadership and innovation will be organised. He said that this initiative will prove to be a new chapter towards Digital India and Smart Scouting.
Special arrangements for security, health and CCTV monitoring in Jamboree
Officials said a 100-bed hospital, 16 dispensaries, police station, control room, fire station (including 11 tenders), administrative office, overseas cafeteria and media center are being set up at the site.
The Chief Minister directed that the entire complex be kept under 24×7 CCTV surveillance, with night vision, face detection and PTZ cameras installed. He said that security and emergency response systems should be activated at all times and all staff should be trained in good behavior and communication to ensure a pleasant experience for the participants.
The event will be based on green and sustainable development
The Chief Minister said that the Jamboree should be made a completely green and sustainable event. Under this, wet-dry waste separation, composting, plastic recycling and Green Warriors programs will be run. Besides, there will also be arrangements like e-cart transportation, green pledge wall and thematic selfie points. He said that Uttar Pradesh tour program should also be prepared for the guests coming from India and abroad.
Drone show and smart technology will be used for the first time
Officials said that for the first time a two-day drone show will be organized in the Jamboree, in which hundreds of drones will together present a glimpse of scouting and youth empowerment. Additionally, entry and attendance of participants will be recorded through RFID based smart ID cards. Participants will get updates through WhatsApp based real-time information system. The program will also have skill workshops, adventure activities like rappelling, wall climbing, sky cycling, zip line, shooting, zorbing ball, commando bridge and archery.
