Dr. Bhati says that Chikungunya Kibari is spread by the bite of Aedes Agepti and Aedes albopictus mosquitoes, which remain more active during the day. When the infected mosquito bites a person, the virus enters its blood and spreads rapidly in the body. This affects the body’s joints, muscles and nerves, due to which the patient has to face severe pain and weakness.
What are the symptoms of chikungunya?
Chikungunya symptoms are suddenly and rapidly revealed. Its incubation period is 2 to 7 days, that is, symptoms appear a few days after the infection of the virus. The most special symptoms include high fever, acute joint pain and muscle cramps. This joint pain is so serious at times that the patient has difficulty in moving and it can live from weeks to months.
Apart from this, the patient may have headache, fatigue, chill, nausea, vomiting and rash on the entire body. Eye pain and swelling are also common symptoms. In many cases, symptoms are similar to dengue, which can make the patient delay in correctly identifying. This infection can take serious form in children, elderly and weak immunity, which affects health for a long time.

Do not allow water to accumulate at home and around.
Wear clothes covering the body.
Use mosquito -escaping repellent and coil.
Apply mosquito nets or nets on doors and windows in the house.
Contact the doctor immediately if you feel fever or other symptoms.
