According to the National Center for Sismology, the center of the earthquake was 160 km below the earth. According to the BBC report, 20 people have died in it so far. The tremors of this earthquake were felt till Islamabad and Abbottabad in Pakistan. According to the National Earthquake Science Center, the earthquake came at 12:47 pm Indian time. After this, continuous afterchoxes were also felt. Of these, 4.7 and 4.3 intensity shocks came in 140 km depth and 5.0 magnitude shock came at 40 km deep.
20 people died
A 6.3 magnitude earthquake occurred in Nangarhar province of eastern Afghanistan on Sunday night. According to the USGS, the earthquake center was near Jalalabad and its depth was 8 kilometers. The earthquake was felt at 11:47 pm local time. Nangarhar Public Health Department spokesman Nakibullah Rahimi said that 15 people were injured and were taken to the local hospital for treatment.

Earthquake struck 6.3 magnitude in 2023 too
