Dozens of commandos were taken off the ground
Jabihullah said that Nargal, Chowkay, Chapa Dara, Pich Dara, Vatapur and Asadabad of Kunar province have suffered the most damage. Relief and rescue operations are being carried out in all the affected areas. In places where helicopters cannot land, dozens of commandos have been brought to the ground. These soldiers are taking out the injured from the rubble and bringing them to a safe place.

He informed that a camp has been set up in Khas Kunar district. Service and relief committees are providing supply and emergency assistance here. Two centers have been set up near the disaster site to take the injured to the hospital, funerals of the dead and rescue the survivors. Along with condolence messages, many countries have announced assistance. Emergency relief committees have been delivered to the earthquake victims.
