AFCAT Registration 2026: If you dream of becoming an officer in the Indian Air Force, then a great opportunity has come for you. IAF has released the official notification for AFCAT 2026 and the registrations have started from 17th November 2025. Through this examination, the Air Force is going to recruit 328 posts in its various branches. Candidates willing to apply can directly fill the online form by visiting the official website of IAF AFCAT at afcat.edcil.co.in. The last date of application has been fixed as 14 December 2025. Who can apply for AFCAT 2026? Know the age limit
The age limit for AFCAT 2026 has been fixed according to different branches:
Flying Branch (AFCAT, NCC Special Entry)
- Age: 20 to 24 years, as on 1 January 2027
- Born: Between 2 January 2003 and 1 January 2007
- If the candidate has valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA, then maximum age should be 26 years, Date of Birth of such candidates: 2 January 2001 to 1 January 2007.
Ground Duty (Technical and Non Technical) Branch
- Age: 20 to 26 years (as on 1 January 2027)
- Date of Birth: Between 2 January 2001 to 1 January 2007

Follow these steps to fill the online form-
- First of all go to the official website afcat.edcil.co.in.
- Click on AFCAT 2026 Registration link on the homepage.
- Complete the registration by entering your basic details on the new page.
- After registration, login with your login ID.
- Fill the application form and upload the documents.
- Pay the application fees online.
- After submitting the form, take a printout of it and keep it safe.

How much will the application fee be?
The fee for all candidates is Rs 550 plus GST. Fees will be deposited only through online mode credit card, debit card or net banking. Cash, check or demand draft is not allowed.

AFCAT 2026 Exam Pattern
AFCAT 2026 exam will be conducted completely in online mode. In this test, candidates will have to solve a total of 100 multiple choice questions. The total score of the paper will be 300 marks and you will be given 2 hours to complete it. The special thing is that all the questions will be objective type and the paper will be asked only in English language.
