Patna District Magistrate Dr. Tyagarajan SM Said that as soon as the Election Commission announced the dates of Bihar assembly elections, the code of conduct has come into force in the entire district from that moment. He informed that the polling process will be held on 6 November in 14 assembly constituencies of Patna district. The nomination process will run from 10 October to 17 October. The DM clearly stated that the guidelines of the Election Commission will be strictly followed. There will be quick action on any kind of disturbance or violation of the code of conduct.

29 companies deployed in Patna, CCA action on 184 people

Giving information about security and law and order, Patna SSP Karthikeya Sharma said that 29 additional forces have been deployed in the district. The entire district is divided into sectors to maintain peace in the electoral atmosphere. He said that the police is fully ready to make the election fair and peaceful. Those who try to spoil the atmosphere will be taken strict action.

So far, 184 people have been acted upon by CCA (Crime Control Act). Many of them have been ordered to report outside the district. Also, 32 checkposts have been built on the border of Patna district, where the police team is vigilant.

Nawada SP Abhinav Dhiman himself landed on the road

On the other hand, Nawada district administration is also fully in action. District Superintendent of Police Abhinav Dhiman has started a intensive vehicle investigation campaign from October 6 to further strengthen the security system. This campaign is being run from Mufassil police station area to Bihar-Jharkhand border. SP Abhinav Dhiman himself landed on the road and took stock of checking of vehicles. Police officers and drivers were stirred up as soon as they came on the road.

Dhiman said that it is our priority to stop illegal weapons, cash and liquor smuggling during the election. An action will be taken immediately on any suspicious activity.

With the announcement of election dates, the Bihar Police and Administration have made it clear that the disturbers are not good. Security agencies led by DM, SSP and SP are fully active.
