Telugu superstar Adivi Sesh is gearing up for two consecutive pan-India releases, both featuring top Bollywood talent. Known for his unique script choices and strong screen presence, Sesh will lead a Hindi-language film and a Telugu-Hindi bilingual, set to release over the next two years.
As the actor continues to make waves with his big films, the actor recently recalled meeting one of the biggest stars in Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan, for the first time. He even revealed that he decided not to click a picture with him and now regrets the decision.

In his recent interaction with Pinkvilla, Adivi Sesh was asked about the first famous person/ celebrity he met while he was pursuing to become as an actor. The actor shared, ” Amitabh Bachchan Sir. Big B in the FIA Indian Mela in Fremont, California. He was a special guest. He comes, everyone was saying, shake his hand. Everyone was saying, Let’s take a picture with Big B.”

He went on to explain the reason behind his decision not to take a picture with Big B. Sesh shared, “Sab photo le rahe the aur main sochne laga, I want to do what Big B is doing. I don’t want to stand beside him. Mujhe bhi wahi karna hai jo wo kar rahe hai. So, I thought I was being some cool rebel… ki mene photo nahi liya.”
(Translation: “Everyone was taking photos, and I started thinking, I want to do what Big B is doing. I don’t want to just stand beside him. I want to do what he does. So, I thought I was being some cool rebel… that I didn’t take the photo.”)
He concluded by saying, “It was because I admired what he was doing and his journey. I wanted to do that. So, I actually regret not having that picture now.”
Adivi Sesh’s work front
Meanwhile, on the work front, Adivi Sesh is set to take the lead in two highly anticipated pan-India films, kicking off with Dacoit, where he stars opposite Mrunal Thakur. The film also features Anurag Kashyap in a pivotal role. Directed by Shaneil Deo, the film is set against a gritty backdrop. Dacoit follows the intense journey of a furious convict who seeks revenge on his former lover after a heartbreaking betrayal. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on December 25.
Following Dacoit, Adivi Sesh will reprise his role as Agent Gopi in (Goodachari)G2, the next instalment in the acclaimed Goodachari franchise. Expanding the spy universe to a global scale, G2 promises gripping storytelling, high-stakes action, and emotionally charged performances. The film is set to hit theatres on May 1, 2026, and aims to elevate Indian spy thrillers to new heights.
