Adani Enterprises has become the new partner of Google. Adani, through its joint venture AdaniConnex, will collaborate with Google to build India’s largest AI data center campus and new green energy infrastructure in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. Google’s AI Hub in Visakhapatnam will be built with an investment of approximately $15 billion in five years (2026-2030). The project will include gigawatt-level data center operations, undersea cable networks and clean energy infrastructure supporting the most advanced AI workloads in India. It has been said in the information that AdaniConnex and Airtel will work together with Google to make this project a reality.
Building AI Infra
Google AI Hub will add significant computing capacity to India, which will be a major step forward in the country’s AI capabilities. Both companies are committed to sustainability and are planning joint investments in new transmission lines, clean energy production and new energy storage systems in Andhra Pradesh. This initiative will not only provide power to the data centers, but will also strengthen India’s electricity grid.
