Adam Zampa outfoxed in-form KL Rahul and clean bowled him during the ongoing second ODI between India and Australia at the Adelaide Oval in Adelaide.
The right-handed batsman walked out to bat in the 33rd over after Zampa had cleaned up a well-set Shreyas Iyer for 61 runs.
Zampa pulls Australia back in the contest
On the previous delivery, Iyer had hit the Australian spinner for a four and went for another big shot, but paid the price for it.
Zampa bowled one outside the off stump, and Iyer wanted to hit it down the ground but ended up getting a thick inside edge back onto the stumps.
Adam Zampa castles KL Rahul
KL Rahul lost his wicket to Adam Zampa in the 37th over. The over started on a fine note for the India star as he hit the leg-spinner for a four on the first ball. He danced down the track and went inside out over extra cover to hit a beautiful shot.
However, Adam Zampa had the last laugh once again as he dismissed KL Rahul on the very following delivery. It was a flipper on a shorter length from the Australian spin spearhead, and Rahul decided to pull it.
He rocked back to play the pull shot but was beaten by the pace as the ball went on to hit the top of off stump. Rahul had to depart for just 11 runs.

Losing Rahul is a huge blow for India, as it was the third wicket they lost in quick succession. In the 30th over of the innings, Mitchell Starc dismissed Rohit Sharma for 73 to end his 118-run stand with Iyer before the latter was dismissed by Zampa.
Even before India could recover from those twin setbacks, Zampa struck again to remove Rahul. Rahul’s dismissal saw India getting reduced to 174/5 from 135/2. At the time of writing this report, India were on 196/5 in the 40th over with Axar Patel and Washington Sundar batting in the middle.
