Actress Surekha Vani has firmly denied rumours about her remarriage, saying she has no plans to tie the knot again.
Speaking to the media at a teaser launch, the actress was asked whether she was considering a second marriage. She responded with a light-hearted smile and made it clear that the rumours were baseless.
“I do not have any such plans now, and I do not think I ever will. My daughter is of marriageable age. Why would I get married now? The media has already married me off several times through rumours,” she said.
Surekha Vani has been one of the most recognisable character artistes in Telugu cinema for more than two decades.
Following the death of her husband, she focused on raising her daughter, Supritha, who is now preparing to make her debut as a lead actress.
Over the years, social media has repeatedly linked Surekha Vani to rumours of a second marriage.
With her latest statement, the actress has once again dismissed the speculation and made her position clear.
