Dhanush expressed grief over the AI-changed climax of ‘Raanjhana’. Described it as an attack on the soul of the film and demanded strict rules to control the AI use in cinema.
Entertainment Desk. Dhanush has expressed his deep disappointment at the AI-Altered Climax of the re-temptation film ‘Raanjhana’. The South actor said that despite his objections, the end of the film was changed, which they consider to be a bad form of art. He described it as a violation of artistic integrity and demanded strict rules on AI in cinema.
Dhanush wrote on X (East Twitter), “Re-temples of ‘Raanjhana’ with AI- Change Climax have disturbed me badly. This new climax has taken away the soul of the film, and the film maker continued it despite my clear objection. This is not the same film for which I had committed 12 years ago.” Dhanush added, “The use of AI for changes in films and subject matter is a dangerous example for both art and artist. It is harmful to the integrity of storytelling and the legacy of cinema. I hope strict rules will be made to stop it in future.”
