According to the family, Unaiz was taken to the birthday party by car by his friends and a driver around 3:30 pm on Monday afternoon. The party was held at the home of an known family. At around 7:21 pm, Navneet’s father Sanjeev Tripathi made a WhatsApp call and informed Unaiz’s mother that the child was in Lokbandhu Hospital and to reach immediately. The call was received by elder brother Usaid.
The family members allege that when they reached the hospital, they were not allowed to meet the child immediately. After some time the police told them that Unaiz had died. The family says that the child was shot in the middle of the forehead.
In Lucknow, 12-year-old fasting boy Unaiz Khan was shot dead in the forehead, but the person who threatened an encounter by tweeting is silent on this matter.
