Dua Lipa recently gave fans in Mumbai a thrilling surprise when she performed a mashup of her hit Levitating with the classic Bollywood track Woh Ladki Jo from the 1999 film Baadshah.
The mashup, originally created by DJ Ruchir Kulkarni, quickly went viral, sparking excitement, especially among Shah Rukh Khan fans. However, not everyone was thrilled with the performance, particularly singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya.
Abhijeet, who sang Woh Ladki Jo, voiced his dissatisfaction over the lack of credit given to the original creators of the song. In an interview with News18, he emphasized that Dua Lipa should have acknowledged the team behind the track, including composer Anu Malik and lyricist Javed Akhtar. He described Woh Ladki Jo as one of Anu Malik’s finest works, saying, “It is his life’s greatest song.”
