Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir: National Conference President Farooq Abdullah strongly objected to the decision to detain Aam Aadmi Party MLA Mehraj Malik under the Public Safety Act (PSA). Farooq Abdullah said that Malik’s words were unparliamentary, but it is not appropriate to put PSA. He said that if there was a conversation, the matter could have been resolved. He also told that he appealed to the Prime Minister and the Home Minister at the same time to withdraw the PSA and Mehraj Malik should also withdraw his words.
