What was the Race 4 casting reports before clarification

The clarification comes after reports claimed that   had recently heard the script of Race 4 and given his go-ahead to the makers. The reports sparked speculation that the 61-year-old actor could take on the lead role in the upcoming action thriller.

However, Taurani’s latest statement makes it clear that no actor has officially been locked for the project yet.

This is not the first time that Race 4 has been surrounded by casting rumours. Earlier in January, reports suggested that Akshaye Khanna could return to the franchise despite his character being killed off in the first film. Taurani had previously rejected those reports while speaking to HT City, stating, “No, we have not approached Akshaye. There was no scope at all.”

When asked whether the makers could rework the storyline to bring his character back, the producer ruled out the possibility. “There is no thought about getting him. His character gets into an accident in the first movie; his track ended there, and it will remain at that.”

Despite the speculation surrounding several names, the makers have not officially announced the cast of Race 4. Taurani’s latest clarification suggests that audiences will have to wait for an official announcement before knowing who will lead the next chapter of the franchise.
