Bollywood actor Aamir Khan recently opened up about his relationship with girlfriend Gauri Spratt and shared the potential for a third marriage.
The 60-year-old confirmed that he and Spratt are serious about each other, and he is already ‘married to her in his heart’.
During an interview with The Indian Express, Khan said, “Well, Gauri and I are really serious about each other, and we are in a very committed space. And we are, you know, we are partners. We are together.”
Khan further elaborated on his feelings regarding marriage, stating, “Marriage is something. I mean, in my heart, I’m already married to her. So whether we formalise it or not is something that I will decide as we go along.”
The ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ actor on his 60th birthday in March of this year. The couple share a 14-year age difference, with Gauri being 46 years old. This age difference, however, seems to have no bearing on the depth of their connection.
He was first married to Reena Dutta, with whom he has two children – Junaid and Ira. Their marriage lasted from 1986 until 2002. Khan later married filmmaker Kiran Rao in 2005, with whom he shares a son, Azad. Aamir and Kiran separated in 2021 but continue to co-parent their child.
On the professional front, the actor was recently seen in ‘Sitaare Zameen Par,’ where he played a basketball coach. The film was a commercial hit, earning over Rs 200 crore worldwide.
He is now slated to make a , scheduled for release on August 14. The film features a star-studded cast, including actors Rajinikanth and Nagarjuna.
