Aamir Khan gives an update on ‘Andaz Apna Apna 2’, reveals script is still in early stages: ‘Raj Santoshi is working on…’

Aamir Khan has finally opened up about ‘Andaz Apna Apna 2’, the much-awaited sequel to the 1994 cult classic where he starred alongside Salman Khan. While fans have long hoped for a reunion, Aamir has now clarified that nothing has been finalised yet.

Script in progress
In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, Aamir revealed that director Rajkumar Santoshi is working on a version of ‘Andaz Apna Apna 2’, but it is still in its early stages. He added that both he and Salman Khan will only agree to the project if they are completely satisfied with the script.

“I really believe that scripts have to come out organically. So Raj Santoshi is working on a version of ‘Andaz Apna Apna 2’, but it’s too early for me to say that it’s being made, because until the script is ready and both Salman and I don’t love what he narrates and we say yes, until then, the film actually won’t be greenlit. So right now, it’s in very early stages. But let’s all hope that he comes up with a good script. We’re all hoping.”
