Aahana Punjabi and Anmol Jumani secured the Beginner Mixed Doubles title at the Mumbai DUPR Cup with a 21-12 victory over Romi Desai and Rohan Dutia in the final.
The winners built momentum early by working well as a pair and capitalising on openings at the net. Their movement and communication helped them stay one step ahead through the middle phase of the match.
Romi and Rohan showed determination and stayed competitive in patches, but were unable to sustain pressure as Aahana and Anmol continued to convert key points.
Once the lead was established, Aahana and Anmol closed out the contest with minimal errors to seal the title and finish on top of the beginner mixed doubles category at the Mumbai DUPR Cup.
