A case of abusing a woman has come to light in the Majitha Nag Devta temple located in the Satrikh police station area of Barabanki district of UP. A video of this is also becoming very viral on social media, in which the victim woman is seen accusing the policemen on duty in the temple of abusing the mother.
At present, no police response has been revealed to this video going viral.
The woman seen in the video is said to be from Bahraich district. She reached the Majitha Nag Devta temple with an elderly woman on the second day of the fair. During the darshan, the gold chain of an elderly woman was stolen in the crowd. The woman alleges that after the theft of the chain, she reached the policeman with a complaint, then the inspector started abusing her and reprimanded her.
Abuse of woman in temple premises
The woman alleges that instead of taking her complaint seriously, Daroga Upendra Yadav and women constable Satyabhama Mishra tried to threaten and silence her. The woman says that when she requested the inspector to see CCTV footage, they started abusing my mobile while trying to snatch my mobile. The woman created a ruckus in the temple premises, making the video.
Woman made serious allegations against policemen
The victim woman has also accused of having a role of a female soldier in pulling the chain. This incident was captured in CCTV camera, which the policemen were agitated to show it. In the viral video, the woman is seen accusing the policeman of shouting and abusing the policeman. This video is fast becoming viral on social media, which has questioned the functioning of the police. At present, no official statement of the police has been revealed on the allegations being made by the woman in this video.
