When a son was born a year after his brother’s death, a man weighed him with coins. Not only this, brother’s name was also given to him. After weighing, coins of Rs 10 each were donated to the temple.

Akshay told that his 21-year-old younger brother Rohit died on 6 October 2024 due to illness. In memory of his brother, he had made a vow to God that if he had a son, he would accept him as his brother. It was also resolved to donate an amount equal to the weight of the son to the temple. Son Ratna was born on 6 October 2025, exactly one year after the death of his brother.
Akshay named the newborn Rohit. Saint reached Shiromani Ravidas temple with his wife on Sunday. There the newborn was weighed with coins. The child’s weight was found to be six kilograms. Rs 9221 were found in Rs 10 coins, which were donated to the temple. The family sets up a fruit vendor at the police station intersection in the town.
Teenager not found, mother stopped eating
The police have not yet been able to recover a 14-year-old girl who was missing for four days from a locality in Baraut city. Due to not being able to find the girl, her mother has stopped eating. The people of the society have met the SP and raised the demand for the recovery of the girl.
On January 31, the girl had gone missing near her house. When the girl’s mother informed her father about this, a missing complaint was lodged in the police station the same day. There is also a mobile phone from home with him. When the police found out the location of the mobile, they could not achieve much success. People of the society met SP Suraj Kumar Rai and expressed their dissatisfaction with the police action and demanded the recovery of the girl as soon as possible.
On the other hand, the girl’s mother has not been eating anything for four days due to which her health is deteriorating. Kotwali in-charge Manoj Kumar Chahal said that apart from the surveillance team, two teams of Kotwali police are deployed to recover the girl. Raids have been conducted in Haryana and Delhi, but success has not been achieved yet. The girl will be recovered as soon as possible.
