Unnao restaurant controversy: A small mistake in the holy month of Sawan and on the special occasion of Rakshabandhan hurt the religious sentiments of a family of Unnao. A restaurant served non -veg dish in an online wedge dinner order, causing both controversy and anger to spread. Was it just a mistake or did there be a big lapse in the system? Dheeraj Singh, a resident of Magarwara of Unnao, placed an online veg order for his family on Saturday night. It included embroidery cheese, cheese fry rice and five rumali rotis. But when a piece of non -veg was found in the cheese served on the food plate, there was a huge resentment in the family. Dheeraj Singh, who is also the serviceman of a temple, said that this incident is a serious insult to his religious faith. Especially the family’s trust was broken by getting non -veg instead of eating veg on holy occasions like Sawan and Rakshabandhan. He immediately complained to the district administration on this negligence of the restaurant.

Why did the administration close the restaurant?
The local administration became active after receiving the complaint. On the instructions of ADM Finance, Food Officer Shailesh Dixit inspected the restaurant. Investigation revealed that the online order had swap between wedge and non-veg. Also in the restaurant, veg and non -veg food was being cooked in the same kitchen, which is clearly against the rules.
The Food Department took samples of maida and gravy from the restaurant and gave strict instructions that veg and non-veg food should be made completely in different kitchens. Till then the restaurant has been completely closed. The police is also investigating the case and action has been assured against the culprits.
