A moving AC luxury bus caught fire and within a short time the fire became so severe that within 10 minutes the entire bus was burnt to ashes. Accident happened on Isagarh Road of Ashoknagar district
Actually, this tragic accident happened near Bamnavar village on Isagarh Road in Ashoknagar district between 8 to 9 pm on Saturday night. Where the AC bus of Kamla Travels was going to Indore, it was completely burnt to ashes in the high flames. It is said that the fire was so severe that fire brigade vehicles reached the spot to extinguish it, but the vehicles ran out of water, but the fire could not be controlled.
Passengers were evacuated by breaking the glass windows of the bus.
Let us tell you that as soon as the fire broke out, the driver of the bus and a policeman broke the glass windows of the bus and immediately took out the passengers. Without caring for their lives, both of them entered the burning bus and had the passengers not been allowed to come out, the death toll would have increased. The local people evacuated the people from the bus without any delay. As soon as the news of the accident was received, police from two police stations also reached the spot and started relief and rescue operations.
What is the reason for the fire in the bus?
Initial police investigation has revealed that the horrific fire in the bus may have been caused by a short circuit. However, there is no accurate information about the fire yet. Head constable Raghuvanshi, who was traveling in the bus, told that the driver and I took out one passenger after another from the burning bus. Apart from this, he went again and checked whether there was any fire or not. There was no person inside. As soon as the passengers had come out, the bus was completely burnt to ashes. The entire bus caught fire in about 10 minutes.
