A blow of 724 million dollars! America caught in the trap of blackmailing India, India woke up Trump in WTO

India has done what even the Trump administration of America would not have imagined. Recently, India has given a direct answer to America from the platform of the World Trade Organization (WTO), which has started a new chapter of trade war.

The burden of 500 percent tariff and 26 percent import duty imposed by America is now backfiring on them.

Just a few days ago, America had threatened to impose 550 percent import duty on India, especially on those Indian products which are exported to America. The main objective of America behind this was to stop India from buying cheap crude oil from Russia.

America put two options in front of India: either stop buying oil from Russia, or face 500 percent duty. America thought that India would succumb to this threat. But this time the situation is different. India, led by Indian Foreign Minister S Jaishankar, has made it clear to the US that it will not stop buying oil from Russia and will not succumb to any blackmail. India has recalled its trade delegation from the US, sending a clear message that India will retaliate rather than bow down. India has now filed a case in the World Trade Organization against the 26 percent import duty imposed by the US on Indian auto vehicles and parts on May 3. India has said that the US has imposed this duty on the pretext of security measures without giving any information to the WTO, which is against the rules of the WTO. Through this move, India has proposed to impose a counter-duty of about $ 724 million on the US.
