Devastated and blaming herself, the techie mother died by suicide, leaving behind a note.</p><img>A truly heartbreaking incident has occurred in Bengaluru’s Chandra Layout area. A mother, devastated after her 11-month-old baby drowned in a bucket of water, died by suicide. In a death note, she wrote that she couldn’t save her child.<img><p>The deceased were 29-year-old Prathibha and her 11-month-old son, Agastya. Prathibha was a software engineer working from home in Bhairaveshwara Nagar. Her husband, Mahantesh (pictured), is also a techie. In that short time, her baby fell into a bucket of water and drowned. Heartbroken, she wrote a note and ended her life without telling anyone. It seems she had first tried to take her life by cutting her wrist.<img><p>The whole incident came to light only when the husband, Mahantesh, returned home at night. His wife didn’t open the door, so he used his own key to get in. Mahantesh told the police he found Prathibha’s body hanging and the baby’s body lying on the bed.</p><img><p>In her death note, Prathibha wrote: ‘I had gone to the terrace to get the dry clothes. The baby must have crawled into the bathroom while playing and fell into the bucket. I couldn’t save my child. I am responsible for my baby’s death.
