Ranbir Kapoor told at an event in New York how this journey that started with fear became the turning point of his life. Ranbir revealed that when producer Namit Malhotra offered him the role, his first answer was ‘no’. He said, “I remember when Namit offered me this role about 4 years ago, my first reaction was ‘no’, I am not fit enough, not good enough to do full justice to this character.”
