Regarding the film, director Nitish Tiwari said at an event: “The greatness of Ramayanam lies in the depth of its emotions. It is not just a battle of good and evil, but a story of our decisions and responsibility.” Whereas Ranbir Kapoor said: “I don’t think I have come here to present Ram. I have come here to learn from him. It is a humbling experience for me to understand his simplicity and purity.”

Yash will be seen as Ravana in ‘Ramayana’, made for approximately Rs 4000 crore, while Sai Pallavi (Sita), Sunny Deol (Hanuman) and Ravi Dubey (Lakshman) are in important roles. The film has been made on a grand scale in collaboration with DNEG and the international team. The collaboration of Hans Zimmer and AR Rahman in music makes it more special. The film will be released in two parts in Diwali 2026 and 2027, which is considered to be the biggest project of Indian cinema.
