This step is taken towards strengthening governance in the next phase of institutional and strategic development of the company.
Who is PR Ramesh and why is he important?
PR Ramesh is an experienced Chartered Accountant with over 40 years of experience in financial oversight, corporate governance and board leadership. He is the former Chairman of Deloitte India and a former member of the Deloitte Global Board. In his long career, he has advised many leading companies such as Air India, Cipla, Nestlé India, Larsen & Toubro, ITC Hotels, Tejas Networks on governance and risk management. He also received the “Best Independent Director” award by the Asian Center for Corporate Governance & Sustainability in 2022-23. He has also been active in the advisory committees of institutions like SEBI, RBI and IRDA. His experience will further strengthen the oversight and governance capabilities of VerSe’s Board.
