Broadcast engineer dies in suspicious condition in hotel room
Ian Williams Langford returned to his room after the match between Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders at Wankhede Stadium on 29 March. He stayed in room number 2715 of a hotel in Mumbai. On March 30, when the hotel receptionist called his room, there was no answer, after which the hotel staff went to his room to check on him.
The hotel staff knocked on the door of Ian’s room. When there was no reaction from inside, he opened the door of the room with the master key and what he saw left his eyes wide open. The body of British citizen Ian Williams Langford, who was involved in IPL broadcasting, was lying on the floor.
