Noida Suicide: In Noida, 21 year old B.Tech student Arpita committed suicide by jumping from the 28th floor. According to initial investigation, she was upset with her parents’ scolding. Police have not found any suicide note and investigation into the case is ongoing.
A heartbreaking news has come from Noida. Here in Wave Amor Society of Sector 32, a 21 year old girl committed suicide by jumping from the 28th floor. Police said that the girl’s name was Arpita. She was a second year B.Tech student from a university in Punjab. This incident happened late on Sunday night at around 12.20 am. At that time Arpita’s parents and sister had gone to their respective rooms. Then Arpita went to the balcony of the drawing room and jumped from there. A security guard of the society heard a loud sound of something falling. When he ran there, Arpita was lying soaked in blood. People informed the police, but by the time the police arrived he was dead.
Police started investigation
SHO of Sector 24 Police Station S.K. Tomar said that initial investigation revealed that Arpita was upset with the scolding from her parents. However, it is not yet clear what the scolding was for. No suicide note has been found from the spot. The police will also interrogate the family members so that the real reason for the suicide can be known.

Police also told that Arpita and her elder sister had returned home only two-three days ago. Before sleeping on Saturday night, his parents had scolded him about something. Family members told that she was upset after being scolded. An attempt was made to convince him, but to no avail. Police have sent the body for autopsy and the report is awaited. The family has not filed any complaint yet. The matter is under investigation. Arpita’s family is originally from Basti in Uttar Pradesh and lives in a rented flat in the society here. Her father is a businessman and her elder sister also studies in the same university.
