Varanasi, 11 September: On Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached his parliamentary constituency Kashi. He is accompanied by the Prime Minister of Mauritius for bilateral talks. He was welcomed by Governor Anandi Ben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport. From the airport, he reached the police line via helicopter and left for the Taj Hotel.
Kashi residents gave a grand welcome to PM Modi
The Prime Minister’s convoy was welcomed by BJP workers and Kashi residents with Shankhanad, Har-Har Mahadev’s announcement and Pushpavarsha. Modi also shook hands and accepted the greetings of the public. Cultural programs were organized all over the way.
BJP workers’ enthusiasm and support
As soon as they left the police line, women workers, officials and common people strongly welcomed PM Modi. Batukas played conch shells and kept cheering “Har-Har Mahadev” amidst the echo of drums and drums. BJP workers stood with placards written by “GST” and “thanks” for thanking GST reforms.

Road show -like view on Prime Minister’s arrival

A large number of people stood on both sides of the roads and welcomed Modi. Folk dances and cultural programs at places like Kachhari and Ambedkar Square made the atmosphere festive.

Mauritius Prime Minister Naveen Chandra Ramgulam reached Varanasi with the delegation on Wednesday. The Kashiwasis welcomed him in a traditional way. On Thursday evening, he will attend the Ganga Aarti from Cruise and will visit Baba Kashi Vishwanath Temple on the morning of September 12. After this he will go to Ayodhya.
