SSB caught 30 prisoners who fled from Nepal’s jail to enter the Indian border. Of these, 17 prisoners were arrested in Uttar Pradesh, while 13 prisoners were arrested from Bihar and West Bengal.

These arrests in Uttar Pradesh were made during the night patrol operations in Lakhimpur, Bahraich and Balrampur. After receiving the news of the escape of prisoners from Nepal, the SSB increased the vigil and strictness on the border. Meanwhile, the work of evacuating Telugu citizens trapped in Nepal in Nepal has also intensified. On Thursday, 12 people were evacuated from a special flight from Simikot, while 22 people returned safely by road.

A flight plan between Kathmandu to Delhi

Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh said that a flight is being planned from Kathmandu to Delhi to bring back more than 200 people back. He wrote on social media that 133 people have been taken to Kathmandu Airport with security. A charter aircraft will also fly from Pokhara, which will bring 10 people stranded there to Kathmandu, so that they can return to India from Indigo flight.
