The prestigious 71st National Film Awards were announced on August 1 this year. Shah Rukh Khan won his first-ever National Award in 33 years for Atlee’s Jawan . Vikrant Massey and Rani Mukerji were also honoured for their respective films, 12th Fail and Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway.
Now, it has been reported that the award ceremony will be held by the end of September. From SRK to Rani, many Bollywood celebrities are likely to attend the ceremony.
71st National Film Awards ceremony date out?
A source told Bollywood Hungama that the 71st National Film Awards will be held on September 23 at 4pm. The ceremony will apparently take place in Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.
“The winners and jury members were informed about the time, date and venue through an official letter and invitation. As per the protocol, the invitees can avail of flight tickets, accommodation and pick up and drop from Delhi airport; the same has been mentioned in the letter,” the source told the entertainment portal.
National Film Award winners like SRK, Rani, Vikrant, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Sudipto Sen, Shilpa Rao, Janki Bodiwala, Vaibhavi Merchant and others are expected to be present. President Droupadi Murmu will apparently hand over the awards to the winners.

The day he won National Award, Shah Rukh shared a video message on his official X (formerly Twitter) account. In the video, SRK could be heard saying, “Needless to say I’m overwhelmed with gratitude, pride and humility. To be honoured with the National Award is a moment that I will cherish for a lifetime. Thank you so much to the jury, the chairman and to the INB ministry and to everyone who thought I was worthy of this honour.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Shah Rukh will next be seen in Siddharth Anand’s King with his daughter Suhana Khan.
