Representative John B. Larson from Connecticut said, “Today we gather here to say that there are no kings in America. If the common people stand united and raise their voices, no one can defeat us.” Senator Kirsten Gillibrand also criticized the administration, saying that in America one does not bow before any king.
He said that the government should focus on the real problems of the people, like reducing inflation, making health services affordable and giving every family a chance to move forward. Whereas Senator Bernie Sanders said, “Our message in 2026 is clear, no more kings. We will not let this country go towards dictatorship. Only the people will rule in America.”
