New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said that he was grateful to Gulf countries for taking good care of In living there. He observed that a large number of countrymen have their family members, relatives, or friends living in these countries.

Addressing the 132nd Mann Ki Baat, the PM noted that after the Covid pandemic, everyone expected the end of tough situations; however, soon conflicts started in various parts of the world.

“There has been constant turbulence across the world in the recent past. The COVID-19 pandemic, too, was a period of immense upheaval. Everyone had anticipated that after COVID-19, the world would embark on a path of progress with a fresh start. However, circumstances involving continuous war and conflict have continued to emerge across various regions of the globe,” he said.

The PM added, “Currently, a massive conflict has been unfolding in our neighbourhood for over a month. A large number of families in India have relatives residing in these countries, many of whom work specifically in the Gulf nations.
