US President Donald Trump has said that we are close to deal with India. US President Donald Trump on Tuesday, along with imposing new tariffs on 14 countries, said that his country is close to setting up a trade agreement with India.

Trump said that we have tied up with the United Kingdom. We have tied up with China. We are close to compromising with India. He said that letters have been sent to other countries to impose new tariffs. He said that we met other people and we do not think we will be able to make any compromise, so we have sent a letter to them.

His remarks came after the announcement of new trade measures with countries including Bangladesh, Thailand, South Korea and Japan, which will be applicable from 1 August.

The US President said that we are sending letters to various countries and telling how much tariff he will have to give. Some countries probably make a little adjustment, it will depend on whether they have any reason or not, we will not behave unfairly in this case.
