Pawan Kalyan Attends Launch Of Varun Tej’s Bhari, Film To Clash With Anil Ravipudi’s Next On Sankranti 2027

The launch of Bhari turned into a grand affair as Pawan Kalyan graced the ceremony. Starring his nephew Varun Tej and produced by his niece  , the film marks a special collaboration within the Konidela family.

Directed by Yadhu Vamsi, Bhari is a rural sports drama centered around volleyball and is slated for a festive Sankranti 2027 release. It is set to clash with a major entertainer helmed by Anil Ravipudi.

Bhari’s Launch Ceremony Attended by Pawan Kalyan: Plot, Cast, Release Window

The much-awaited film Bhari was officially launched with a traditional pooja ceremony attended by Pawan Kalyan. Interestingly, Varun Tej and Niharika’s father, Naga Babu and Mother Padmaja also graced the special event. Varun Tej’s wife Lavanya was also part of it.
The film is produced by Niharika Konidela, marking her first collaboration as actor and producer in her brother’s film.

Directed by Yadhu Vamsi of Committee Kurrollu fame, Bhari is set against a rural backdrop and revolves around volleyball, offering a sports-centric narrative. To authentically portray an athlete, Varun Tej is expected to undergo a physical transformation and shed weight for the role. Interestingly, the film brings back the technical team from Committee Kurrollu. Music for the project will be composed by Anudeep Dev. While the female lead is yet to be officially announced, the shoot is expected to commence soon and progress at a brisk pace. Before Bhari, Varun Tej will be seen in Korean Kanakaraju, an Indo-Korean action drama directed by Merlapaka Gandhi. The film is expected to release in summer 2026 and features an intriguing storyline about a photographer who undergoes a dramatic transformation in Korea.

Bhari Vs Anil Ravipudi’s Film At The Box Office

Bhari is set for a major box office clash with an upcoming entertainer directed by Anil Ravipudi on January 2027. The yet-untitled film stars Venkatesh Daggubati and Nandamuri Kalyan Ram in lead roles and is backed by prominent production houses including Shine Screens, Zee Studios, and presented by Suresh Productions. It is worth taking note that Venkatesh and Anil Ravipudi have earlier teamed up for successful entertainers like F2: Fun and Frustration and F3: Fun and Frustration, both of which fared well at the box office.

Venkatesh also appeared in a cameo role in Chiranjeevi’s Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu. This marks the third collaboration between Anil Ravipudi and Shine Screens after successful ventures like Bhagavanth Kesari and Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu. The film has already created interest among fans with speculation around casting, including names like Fahadh Faasil and Karthi, though these reports were dismissed by the director.
