Dhurandhar 2 shows absolutely no signs of slowing down at the box office. Ranveer Singh and Aditya Dhar’s massive spy thriller continues to bulldoze through records that once seemed untouchable, making history with each passing day.
Having already crossed the Rs 690 crore mark in just eight days, the film stormed into Day 9 with the same unstoppable momentum. On Day 9, Dhurandhar 2 added approximately Rs 24 crore to its domestic total at the time of writing, pushing its overall collection well past the Rs 700 crore mark, a figure no Hindi film has ever reached this quickly in the history of Indian cinema.

The Rs 700 crore milestone carries enormous weight. No Hindi film in the history of Indian cinema has ever reached this number in under ten days. To put it in perspective, films like Jawan, Stree 2, and Chhaava, all considered landmark blockbusters of their respective years, were overtaken by Dhurandhar 2 within the first eight days alone. Each of those films took weeks to build their lifetime totals. Dhurandhar 2 did it inside a week and a half.
Trade observers note that the film’s second-week numbers, while naturally lower than the opening week, will be much more than what most major Bollywood releases manage even in their first few days. The hold on weekdays points to exceptional trending, with repeat viewings continuing.
With Rs 714 crore now on the board, attention turns to the next major targets, the lifetime collection of Pushpa 2: The Rule and the all-time record held by its own predecessor, Dhurandhar, currently the highest-grossing Hindi film ever made. Both targets are now firmly within striking distance.
Dhurandhar 2 also features R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Rakesh Bedi, and Sara Arjun in key roles alongside Ranveer Singh.
