KKR franchise gives the highest salary
Among IPL teams, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) pays the highest salary to its cheerleaders. According to reports, KKR pays around Rs 24,000 to 25,000 for every match. At the same time, Mumbai Indians and RCB teams pay around Rs 20,000, while Chennai Super Kings pays around Rs 17,000. Punjab Kings, Hyderabad and Delhi teams pay salaries ranging from Rs 12,000 to Rs 15,000.
The matter does not end here, they also have extra income. Most franchises give a bonus of Rs 3,000 if their team wins the match. Apart from this, for participating in sponsors’ parties, corporate events and promotional photoshoots, one gets Rs 5,000 to Rs 12,000 for each session. The franchisees also arrange for flight tickets, accommodation and food in 5-star hotels for these cheerleaders coming from abroad. Although, this amount may seem less compared to the players in this tournament worth crores of rupees, but this profession requires rigorous training and constant travelling.
Navdeep Saini replaces Harshit Rana in KKR
New Delhi: Cricketer Harshit Rana, who was injured before the T20 World Cup last month, has been out of the Kolkata Knight Riders team in the 19th season of IPL. In his place, KKR has included Navdeep Saini in the team. IPL has given official information about this.
