Hyderabad Police issue traffic advisory for Sriramanavami Shobha Yatra

Hyderabad Traffic Police has issued traffic diversions in the view of Sriramanavami Shobha Yatra in the city. The diversions will stay in place from 9 am to 9 pm on Friday, March 27.

The Shobha Yatra will begin from Seetarambagh Temple and will move towards Bhoiguda Kaman, Mangalhat, Jali Hanuman, Jumme Raat Bazaar, Gandhi Statue, Begum Bazar Chatri, SA Bazar, Shanker Hotel, Putlibowli X Road, Andhra Bank, DM & HS junction, Hanuman Tekdi Lane and will end at Hanuman Vyamshala.

Heavy congestion can be expected at Begum Bazar Chatri, Afzalgunj, SA Bazar, Shivaji bridge, MJ Market, Koti, Abids, Putlibowli, Chaderghat, Kacheguda.

Major traffic diversions are as follows:

Mallepally X Roads –  Vijay nagar colony/Mehdipatnam – Bhoiguda Kaman

Bhoiguda Kaman – Aghapura/ Habeeb nagar – Takkarwadi/Puranapul

Gandhi statue – Takkarwadi/puranapul – MJ Bridge – Afzalgunj

MJ Bridge – Afzalgunj/city college – Begum bazar – Royal Plaza

Begum Bazar Chatri – Bang GPO/Unchalki

Abids/GPO – Bank street/MJ Market

Koti/Putlibowli – CBS/Afzalgunj

Public is advised to plan their travel in advance and follow diversion routes. Avoid procession routes and cooperate with traffic police.
