New Delhi: Royal Enfield is getting ready to update the Guerrilla 450, which first went on sale in India in 2024. The company has dropped a teaser ahead of its reveal tomorrow, but hasn’t shared much about what’s changing. From the looks of it, the update is likely to bring a few design tweaks along with some added features.
From what can be seen so far, this does not look like a major overhaul. Instead, the focus appears to be on improving the overall riding experience. The teaser hints at a few visible changes, while some mechanical updates could also be part of the package, based on the brand’s recent update strategy with other models.
What could change

The teaser video shows a familiar design, including the off-centre circular TFT display seen on the current Guerrilla 450. It also briefly shows bar-end mirrors, though it is not clear if these will be standard or offered as an accessory. The company’s caption in the teaser points towards better grip, suggesting that new tyres could be part of the update.

If that happens, the current block-pattern tyres may be replaced with ones that are more suited for road use. Better tyres usually mean improved grip and stability, especially during daily riding. Along with this, there could be small visual changes to freshen up the look of the motorcycle.

There is also a chance that Royal Enfield may revise the suspension setup. During earlier rides, the rear suspension on the Guerrilla 450 felt slightly stiff. The company recently made similar changes to the Hunter 350 to improve comfort, so the same approach could be used here as well.
Apart from that, the engine is expected to remain the same. The bike will likely continue with the 452cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor that produces 40hp and 40Nm. The rest of the hardware, including the telescopic front forks, rear mono-shock, disc brakes, and dual-channel ABS, is also expected to stay unchanged.
Currently, the Guerrilla 450 is priced between Rs 2.56 lakh and Rs 2.72 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). With the upcoming update, there could be a slight increase in price, but the final details will only be clear after the official announcement.
