US–Iran war Boman Irani: Actor and filmmaker Boman Irani has sparked conversation online after sharing a humorous video about the ongoing tensions in West Asia. As the conflict involving Donald Trump and Iran continues to dominate global headlines, the veteran star chose satire to highlight the importance of peace.
Boman posted a light-hearted video on Instagram where he jokingly offered to help mediate between the United States and Iran. Referring to his Irani heritage, the Munna Bhai MBBS actor said he would be happy to step in if it helped ease tensions.
Boman Irani takes a dig at Donald Trump
In the clip, he quipped, “So, as you may know, it’s going viral that Mr. Donald Trump wants to speak to the Iranis, and three people have been beckoned to speak, Smriti Irani, Aruna Irani, and me.”
Continuing his tongue-in-cheek proposal, he added, “So, I am ready. I am ready. We can do anything for peace.” Boman also joked about the venue for such talks, suggesting a rather unusual location. “My only problem is that I won’t go to Washington. Let their delegation come here to the Dadar Parsi Colony. We will treat them with whatever they like, we’ll feed them dhansak and custard. We will bring a gas cylinder. I think it will make life very, very smooth for all of us.”

US-Iran conflict heightens
Meanwhile, the geopolitical situation in West Asia remains tense. The conflict between the United States, Israel and Iran has now entered its 26th day, with continued military strikes and counterattacks reported across the region. Iran has reportedly targeted US-linked military bases in the Middle East, while Israeli and American forces have launched strikes on key Iranian infrastructure.
Earlier, Trump claimed he had negotiated a potential five-day ceasefire with Iranian leadership. However, Iranian officials dismissed the claim, accusing him of exaggerating peace efforts and attempting to influence global oil markets.
