Ram Charan got injured during the shooting of the film ‘Peddi’. He received four stitches after getting injured above his eye during an action scene. It was a minor injury and he returned to work within a few hours. His eye is completely safe.
Tollywood’s ‘Mega Power Star’ Ram Charan is busy these days shooting for his film ‘Peddi’. The film team is targeting to release it on April 30, 2026. Therefore, shooting and post-production work is going on at a fast pace. But meanwhile an accident occurred on the set, in which Ram Charan got injured. His fans became very upset after hearing this news. During the shooting, Ram Charan suffered a small injury near his eye. He was given immediate treatment. The special thing is that despite being injured, he did not take any rest and within a few hours he returned to the set for shooting. The incident happened during the shooting of an intense action sequence in Hyderabad on Tuesday (March 24). After the injury, blood started flowing from Ram Charan’s eye.
Eye injury is just a rumor
Earlier there were rumors that Ram Charan had an eye injury. But, the film team clarified this and said that the injury was in the upper part of the eye and not in the eye itself. Ram Charan’s team said, “During the action scene, Ram Charan got injured and has received four stitches. The injury is just above the eyebrow. There is no damage to his eye, he is completely safe. It is a minor injury, so there is nothing to worry about. He has returned to work immediately without taking any break.”
Ram Charan has proved his professionalism by returning to the set just hours after getting injured and getting stitches. The entire team is praising his passion. ‘Uppena’ fame director Buchi Babu Sana is directing this sports-action film. Earlier it was planned to release on March 27, but now the team has planned to release it worldwide on April 30.
Kannada actor Shiva Rajkumar also in the film
Kannada actor Shiva Rajkumar will also be seen in an important role in this film. Apart from them, Jagapathi Babu, Jhanvi Kapoor and Divyendu are also a part of the film. Oscar winning music director A. R. Rahman is giving music to this film. ‘Peddi’ is being produced by Venkat Sathish Kilaru, while Sukumar Writings and Maithri Movie Makers are presenting it.

Actor and Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan tweeted, “It is learned that Ram Charan has been injured during the shooting of the film ‘Peddi’. I wish him a speedy recovery.”
