Navratri Fast Broken Remedy: Chaitra Navratri is now towards its end. The festival of Ram Navami is celebrated on the last day of Navratri. These days, the devotees of Goddess Durga are fasting and worshiping for nine days, but many times, knowingly or unknowingly, some mistakes are made while fasting and worshiping even without wanting to. Like many times someone eats something by mistake or a mistake is made during the puja, sometimes due to some problem the fast and puja gets interrupted.
If this has happened to you too, then do not panic. Some special measures have been mentioned in the scriptures to avoid faults after breaking the fast and worship. Be sure to take these measures.
Do these remedies if Navratri worship and fast is broken
- If the fast is broken or the puja is broken due to some unintentional mistake or any other reason, then atone for the mistake. Because Mata Rani sees the true devotion of the devotee. There is no guilt by repenting.
- If you have eaten something by mistake during the fast, then seek forgiveness from Mata Rani for your mistake. Pray with a true heart. Then light the lamp and chant the mantra of Maa Durga. Also do charity as per your capacity.
- If due to health related problem you have to break the fast of 9 days midway then explain the situation to Maa Durga and ask for forgiveness. Also continue worshiping daily. At the end of Navratri fast, perform Havan and Kanya Puja as per the rituals.
- If the eternal flame has gone out, do not panic. In a sacred state, add oil and ghee to the Akhand Jyot and burn it. Then ask for forgiveness from Mother Durga for your mistake. After this recite Durga Saptashati. Chant the mantra of Maa Durga at least 108 times.
