Ghaziabad Horror News: In Ghaziabad, a man shot dead his wife and friend due to an affair. This incident happened in front of his 7 year old son. The accused is absconding from the spot and the police is searching for him.
A heart-wrenching incident has come to light in Tronica City area of Ghaziabad. Here a 38 year old man shot his wife and his own best friend to death. According to the police, accused Rashid had come to know that an affair was going on between his wife Shabnam and his friend Faheem. He also learned that Shabnam was preparing to leave him.
It is alleged that Rashid called Faheem home for dinner on Monday evening. All three ate food together and also smoked cigarettes. After this this dreadful incident happened. Police said that the couple’s 7-year-old son saw the entire murder incident with his own eyes. The child told the police that his father (Rashid) took out a gun from the bedroom cupboard and shot Faheem first and then his mother. Both of them were shot at close range in the head, due to which they died on the spot.
After murdering his wife and lover, the accused said – now everything will be fine
It is being told that after the murder, Rashid looked at his son and said, “Now everything will be fine”, and then fled from there. Hearing the sound of gunshots, neighbors reached the spot and took both of them to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared them dead. On the complaint of Faheem’s father, the police have registered a case against Rashid under section 103 (murder) of the Indian Justice Code. Several teams have been deployed to search for the accused, but he is still absconding. The police are also trying to recover the weapon with which the murder was committed and are finding out from where Rashid got the gun.
Investigation has also revealed that both Rashid and Faheem have criminal records. Many cases were registered against Faheem including attempt to murder, theft and Arms Act. At the same time, Rashid was also arrested in a theft case in 2023. DCP (Rural) Surendra Nath Tiwari confirmed that both the victims died of gunshot wounds to the head.

The couple has 7 children, ranging in age from 1.5 years to 20 years. Family members and neighbors told the police that there was tension in the house for several months. Especially six months ago, when Rashid came to know about this affair at the time of his elder son’s wedding. Despite repeated refusals, their relationship reportedly continued, leading to frequent fights at home. The police also revealed that Shabnam wanted to get a divorce and intended to sell the house, which was in her name.

About a week before the murder, there was a fight between Rashid and Faheem over the same issue. On the night of the incident, Rashid thought his children were asleep. He took out the pistol previously hidden in the house and confronted both of them again. As the argument escalated, the couple’s younger son, who was watching TV, came into the room and saw the horrific scene with his own eyes.
