Tamannaah’s fitness trainer shared the video

Tamannaah Bhatia’s fitness trainer Siddharth Singh has recently posted a video on Instagram. In this video, he is telling important things regarding mango, pulses and rice. He told that the combination of pulses and rice alone is rich in calories, but the amount of protein and fiber in it is very less, due to which it cannot be considered a balanced and completely healthy meal. He also said that most of us eat pulses and rice in lunch and assume that pulses contain a lot of protein, whereas in reality it is not so. However, this does not mean at all that you should give up your favorite dal and rice completely. According to Siddharth, the only need is to balance it properly, so that this meal remains healthy and the stomach also remains full for a long time.

Eat pulses and rice like this

Siddharth explains that if you want to make it a healthy option then you have to keep the quantity of pulses and rice less. Generally people take more rice and more pulses in their plate, due to which the calorie intake increases. If you reduce the quantity of these two to half, then your total calories also reduce to a great extent.

increase protein like this

When you reduce the amount of pulses and rice, this meal becomes less filling and you may feel hungry sooner. In such a situation, you need to add extra protein to it. Siddharth recommends adding about 100 grams of cheese to this. If low-fat paneer is taken then it can be an even better option.

Fiber is also important

It is also important to have fiber along with pulses and rice. Therefore, fiber is very important for a balanced meal, which improves digestion and keeps you satisfied for a long time. For this, you can include a bowl of salad in your meal, which includes cucumber, tomato and other vegetables of your choice.

If you want to make this meal even more balanced, you can add about 200 grams of Greek yogurt to it. This will not only increase the taste, but the protein and nutrition will also improve. In this way, by making a little change, you can turn your ordinary dal and rice into a healthy, balanced and weight loss meal.
