New Delhi: Senior Congress leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sonia Gandhi has been admitted to the hospital. After his health deteriorated, he was taken to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi. Hospital officials have said that Sonia Gandhi’s condition is currently stable and she is under the supervision of doctors. Son Rahul Gandhi and daughter Priyanka Gandhi are also present with him in the hospital.
According to reports, he suffered physical problems due to the sudden change in weather. It is being told that Sonia Gandhi had consulted doctors on Tuesday evening itself.
Earlier in January this year also, Sonia Gandhi was admitted to the hospital due to difficulty in breathing. At that time, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital Chairman Ajay Swaroop had confirmed that the investigation had found a slight increase in Sonia Gandhi’s bronchial asthma.
79 year old Sonia Gandhi is currently a Rajya Sabha MP from Rajasthan. She is also holding the post of President of the Parliamentary Party of the Indian National Congress. Sonia Gandhi has reached Rajya Sabha after being a Lok Sabha MP five times. Over the past few years, his participation in public programs has reduced due to health challenges. Last year alone he was admitted to the hospital twice.
